The results of the vote, show that over 90% polled were interested in the initiation fee increase to $300 for a total of $420 for those that join their first year. We also received over 90% polled in favor of raising insurance coverage from $1M to $2M. The board will move out with implementing both immediately. The website is already updated to reflect the increase in initiation fees and we will work with our insurance provider for the increased coverage.
The new gate card reader has been installed and old keys will no longer work. If you were unable to make the meeting and still need a gate card, please arrange a time to pick it up at East Cooper Lock & Safe during their business hours 8:30am-5pm Monday thru Friday. Tell them you are with Cooper Estates Civic Club and ask for James since he is our main contact. Before contacting East Cooper Lock and Safe, please contact the board to ensure you are on the list that has been provided.
